Crepe masking tape is one kind of qualified tape used for masking , made from masking paper and pressure sensitive glue , masking paper coated with pressure - sensitive adhesive , the other side with sticky materials , can be divided into normal temperature masking tape and high temperature resistance masking tape , with crepe paperas backing, coated with rubber based acrylic or hot melt adhesive on one side .Bonds firmly，remove easily. Ideal for general protection against primers and light solvent paint system, widely used for masking surface during painting.
